Nutritious Provimi Veal
Provimi Veal is a nutrient-rich meat, low in fat and calories. The following values are based upon a 3-oz (85-gram) cooked-weight portion, boneless and trimmed of removable fat. Consider a quarter-pound hamburger, which is 4 ounces raw and 3 ounces cooked. Then consider that an 8-oz 1"-thick raw pork chop yields only about 3 ounces of edible lean after removing bone, trimming fat and cooking. The USDA recommends that individuals consume two to three servings (5 to 7 ounces total) of lean meat, poultry, fish and alternates such as eggs, dried beans and nuts daily.
